Strolled down to the top of the tunnels at the southern end. You really get a perspective of how steep it is from Hazel Grove to the tunnel entrances.
Was lovely just sitting on a tree stump in the sun, listening to the radio on my phone and watching other people work haha

Any news on the actual opening date yet?
Hi Toby,
As far as I am aware the opening date is still the same as was originally planned. All I can say at the moment is that is it planned for mid August 2011.
Obviously if I get more info or am aloud to tell you I shall post it on here asap.
