Many thanks to Nick Catford of Subterranea Brittanica for sending it in to me.

It doesn't look wide enough for a dual carriageway....hope they've got their measurements right!
Thank for the birthday wishes Toby!
It is massive once you get inside it nutcombe, i know what you mean though. When you stand on the viewing platform it does not look big enough to fit 2 lorrys side by side but once your inside it's like the tardis!
I'm sure they wouldn't spend over £300 million just to get it wrong, would they?
Hey Nutcombe,
Like I said it is massive once your inside it. i can confirm it is wide enough for a dual carraigeway and possibly a path down the sides for emergencies and evacuation needs
Wow!
Very impressed. Can't wait for it to open.
Is it running on/ahead/behind time?
I live in Portsmouth but my family is in Surrey, so hopefully the journey will be even quicker.
Carry on the great Blog! I have it on my bookmarks, and look at it for changes regularly.
