The A3 Tunnel is an important road construction programme in Hndhead, Surrey, UK. The tunnel is 1.9km in length and the longest non estuary tunnel in the country. The tunnel and this blog have also been featured on BBC Radio Solent, BBC South Today, Meridian Tonight and a host of newspapers.

What is that in the first pic?
These two structures are the partially built concrete supports for the Boundless Road underpass, just below where Boundless Road currently joins the A3 at the top end of the old dual carriageway.
